About the role#
This summer internship offers hands-on experience within the Product Marketing and Marketing departments at DIRECTV. You will work alongside leaders in brand strategy, communications, and business planning to contribute to real business initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape marketing strategy and the customer experience.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and execution of marketing strategies.
- Contribute to product roadmap planning and the creation of business cases.
- Analyze viewership trends to recommend promotional strategies.
- Build models to evaluate content value against acquisition costs.
- Conduct product validation and user experience testing.
- Assist with internal culture initiatives and team-building events.
- Collaborate on the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Marketing, Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivation, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
- A genuine interest in marketing, media, and digital innovation.
Location & details#
- This is a 10-week remote internship available to candidates located anywhere in the United States.
- The program runs during the summer of 2027 with two track options: June 7 to August 13 or June 14 to August 20.
- This is a full-time, paid position. Compensation is $20 per hour for undergraduates and $28 per hour for graduate students.
- Applicants must have full U.S. work authorization.
