About the role#
This internship provides direct support to the Electric Distribution Grid Resiliency group. You will gain experience in business performance, finance, systems, operations, and engineering solutions. The role offers exposure to data governance, cataloging, acquisition, quality, analysis, and interpretation. You will also assist with interactive data visualizations and support business metadata and rules.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business requirements and contribute to model strategies or solutions.
- Influence the remediation of data quality defects.
- Apply data analytics theories to industrial problems.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team.
- Follow written and verbal procedures to complete tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems Technology, or a related field.
- Graduation date of Spring 2028 or later.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Valid driver's license.
- Solid understanding of data-driven performance technologies, tools, processes, metrics, and analytics.
- Strong analytical, abstract thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Planning, organizing, and project management abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer software programs.
- An inquisitive nature and strong professional ethics.
