    About the role#

    The Student Nurse Anesthetist (SRNA) program supports registered nurses who are attending or plan to attend an accredited school of nurse anesthesia. Participants receive a $45,000 lump sum stipend during their schooling in exchange for a 36-month work commitment upon graduation. Alternatively, Duke University School of Nursing students may choose loan reimbursement or forgiveness options through financial aid instead of the stipend.

    What you'll do#

    • Attend an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
    • Apply and gain acceptance into the Duke University Health System SRNA program.
    • Commit to 36 months of employment as a CRNA at Duke following graduation.

    What you'll need#

    • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
    • Current RN licensure.
    • At least 2 years of experience in critical care.
    • Enrollment in a Master's degree program at an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
