    About the role#

    Duke University is seeking a Visiting Grad Student to join the Lan Lab. This position focuses on research regarding how cancer cells respond to DNA damage and the development of new strategies for cancer therapy. You will work on a specific project targeting R-loops in glioblastoma.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct experiments necessary to complete the current research study.
    • Work directly on the project targeting R-loops in glioblastoma.
    • Prepare and submit the final manuscript to Nature Communication.

    What you'll need#

    • A BA or BS degree.
    • Current enrollment in graduate research sponsored by a Duke faculty member.
    • Academic background in Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, or Health Administration.
    • Practical experience in research methodologies related to cancer therapy.

    Location & details#

    • This is an on-site role based in Durham, North Carolina.
    • The position is full-time and paid.
    • Hiring is conducted on a rolling basis.
