    About the role#

    The Engineering Standards and Quality Co-op supports initiatives related to technical and industry standards, quality engineering, and process standardization. You will work with engineers and subject matter experts to optimize processes, maintain technical documentation, and support continuous improvement activities. This role offers exposure to engineering design practices, internal standards, and quality systems.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the development, revision, and maintenance of engineering standards and procedures.
    • Manage technical communication and documentation.
    • Pilot test training materials, presentations, tools, and educational resources.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects involving engineering, quality, manufacturing, and product management.
    • Work on the continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering.
    • Sophomore standing or above.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Ability to work full-time during the co-op term.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
    • Proficiency in technical writing and verbal communication.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, with Mathcad experience considered a plus.
