About the role#
As a Product Engineering Co-Op, you will apply your technical background to identify business needs and manage product life cycles. You will work cross-functionally with product design teams, business leaders, marketing, and manufacturing to meet quality and profitability goals. This is a paid, full-time position based in Marshalltown, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for existing product lines.
- Evaluate new product designs and valve constructions for critical service applications.
- Troubleshoot valve performance or manufacturing issues and conduct engineering analyses to find root causes.
- Support Global Sales Offices by providing technical quotation details for new valve offerings.
- Develop and streamline digital tools used for the design and validation of products.
- Assist with daily product orders, including design modifications and application reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person.
- Mechanical Engineering studies are preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
