About the role#
Entegris is seeking a Quality Engineering Co-Op for our Burnet, Texas site. This is a full-time, 6-month assignment for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with a team focused on sustaining and improving specialty chemical products used in semiconductor manufacturing. This role centers on improving site quality systems, enhancing statistical process controls, and supporting continuous improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Learn about specialty canister and ampoule assembly alongside chemical purification technology.
- Work with production and engineering teams to improve production processes while maintaining safety and efficiency.
- Build Power BI dashboards to improve visibility into site quality metrics like customer returns and MOCs.
- Conduct statistical process control (SPC) reviews and create new templates for these reviews.
- Assist the engineering team in tracking and driving key customer requests.
- Communicate with team members to support a productive and safe work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in quality systems.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis, data interpretation, or process improvement.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power BI.
- Ability to organize multiple priorities and work across cross-functional teams.
- Initiative to learn in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with your university requirements for co-op participation.
