About the role#
This internship supports the deployment, optimization, and operations of Ericsson Radio Access Networks. You will gain hands-on experience in telecommunications infrastructure while contributing to live network deployments and operational improvements. This is a 12-week program starting May 25, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist field engineers, construction teams, and project managers with site surveys and assessments.
- Provide inputs for capacity planning and deployment coordination.
- Manage project documentation and progress reporting.
- Design and develop AI models, algorithms, and systems to solve technical problems.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate AI into existing products and workflows.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Conduct experiments to validate AI solutions and document architectures.
- Develop AI/ML use cases including anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
- Troubleshoot and operate AI-driven chatbots.
- Build and operate digital twins to reproduce incidents and run simulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program such as Electrical, telecommunications, wireless, computer, systems, industrial, civil, or construction engineering.
- Pursuing studies in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, AI, Data Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, or programming languages like Python.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with project management, data analysis, or IT operations is preferred.
