About the role#
This is a summer internship for students interested in a career in Construction Project Management. You will work with a project team on tasks ranging from pre-construction to project closeout. This is a paid, full-time position located on-site in Tampa.
What you'll do#
- Perform quantity takeoffs and maintain material logs.
- Prepare project reports and handle correspondence.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Review shop drawings and submittals.
- Track the status of change orders and Requests for Information.
- Collect, verify, and distribute as-builts.
- Assist with close-out documentation and field coordination.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of construction technology such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with software for spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling.
