About the role#
As a Cloud Engineer Intern, you will join the IT team to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers our data, applications, and internal tools. You will work alongside our engineering teams to support cloud architecture, automation, and reliability as we scale. This is a 12-week program where you will own a project scoped on your first day and present your results to our executive leadership team at the end of the summer.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
- Assist with infrastructure-as-code and automation tasks.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.
- Support cloud cost optimization and resource management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across environments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Junior, Senior, Master's/MBA candidate graduating within the next year, or PhD candidate.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges.
- Interest in cloud security and cost optimization.
