About the role#
As a Facilities Engineering Intern, you will work on the brine transfer unit (BTU) which acts as the gathering network for geothermal brine. You will join the engineering team in Houston to support design reviews, manage technical documentation, and collaborate across departments on pipeline deliverables. You will be assigned a specific project to drive throughout the 12-week summer term, culminating in a presentation of your results to department leads and executive leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the brine transfer unit (BTU) scope.
- Assist with design reviews and documentation for the gathering system.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage pipeline-related deliverables.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising Junior or a Senior bachelor's candidate finishing your degree within the next year.
- You are pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are comfortable presenting your work to stakeholders and leadership.
- You demonstrate an eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges.
