About the role#
This internship provides a project of your own to drive for the full 12 weeks. You will work alongside teams building next-generation geothermal energy. At the end of the summer, you will present your work to executive leadership, department leads, and fellow interns. This role is based in our Houston headquarters and supports the operations engineering team.
What you'll do#
- Support operations engineering analysis across chemical, mechanical, electrical, or automation systems.
- Assist with troubleshooting and data review for operating equipment.
- Help document operating procedures and technical findings.
- Support cross-functional coordination with field operations staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Junior, Senior, Master's/MBA candidate, or PhD candidate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges.
- Interest in chemical, mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering.
- Analytical and troubleshooting mindset with comfort working across disciplines.
