About the role#
GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy is seeking interns for the Spring 2027 term. This role offers hands-on experience in the power generation industry. You will work with technical teams to support the development of advanced reactor technology and carbon-free energy solutions.
What you'll do#
- Receive mentorship and coaching from experienced technical managers and technologists.
- Grow your technical expertise through assignments in systems, analysis, design, reliability, and integration.
- Perform design and analysis of product lines.
- Develop models, solve technical problems, and conduct research.
- Collaborate with team members and other organizations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a full-time undergraduate or graduate engineering program, including Nursing, Biomedical, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
