About the role#
This internship focuses on the intersection of compliance operations and learning technology. You will explore how adaptive learning, AI, and reinforcement strategies can improve training outcomes within a global biotechnology environment. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research leading practices in adaptive learning, personalized pathways, and learner analytics.
- Evaluate how adaptive learning and AI-enabled experiences can be applied to compliance training.
- Identify ways to tailor learning based on employee roles, risk profiles, and prior performance.
- Explore techniques to improve long-term retention, such as microlearning, spaced repetition, and behavioral nudges.
- Design sample reinforcement activities and create prototype learning assets like decision-based challenges and scenario simulations.
- Develop learner journeys that extend beyond initial course completion.
- Create a framework to measure learning effectiveness and impact.
- Present your findings and work at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program, with continued enrollment in the following Fall semester.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week full-time internship between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

- High level of organization and attention to detail.
