About the role#
As a Completions Engineering Collegiate Associate Intern, you will focus on the interior furnishings of our aircraft. You will work alongside experienced professionals to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. This role requires you to work on-site at our headquarters in Savannah, Georgia, during the Summer 2027 semester.
What you'll do#
- Assist in completing engineering packages that meet aircraft specifications, quality standards, and FAA regulations.
- Provide technical assistance to staff and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Apply engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft issues using company procedures.
- Analyze business processes, gather team input, and develop optimized solutions.
- Collaborate with departments like Operations, Sales, Material, and Procurement to finish engineering tasks.
- Develop a working knowledge of company products and aircraft systems.
- Communicate across various internal organizations to ensure project alignment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
- Proficiency in CAD software and a solid grasp of basic engineering principles.
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing.
- A detail-oriented and self-driven approach to your work.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Location & details#
- This internship is located on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
- The term runs for the Summer 2027 semester, starting in May 2027.
- You must have reliable transportation to the work site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
