    About the role#

    Gulfstream is seeking a Materials and Process Engineering Intern to support our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) group. This role offers hands-on experience in evaluating aerospace components while working alongside experienced engineers and NDT specialists. You will gain exposure to inspection technologies and aerospace manufacturing processes.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist in the development of NDT qualification and test plans.
    • Review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
    • Support defect placement activities for inspection method qualification and validation.
    • Gain hands-on experience with various NDT inspection equipment and technologies.
    • Document test results and prepare technical reports.
    • Work with engineers, technicians, and inspectors to support aerospace product development and certification.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.
    • Completion of your sophomore year prior to the start date.
    • Full-time student status with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
    • Reliable transportation.

    Location & details#

    • This is a paid, full-time internship located on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
    • The term is for the Summer 2027 semester.
    • Sponsorship is not provided for this position.
