About the role#
Gulfstream is seeking a Materials and Process Engineering Intern to support our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) group. This role offers hands-on experience in evaluating aerospace components while working alongside experienced engineers and NDT specialists. You will gain exposure to inspection technologies and aerospace manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of NDT qualification and test plans.
- Review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Support defect placement activities for inspection method qualification and validation.
- Gain hands-on experience with various NDT inspection equipment and technologies.
- Document test results and prepare technical reports.
- Work with engineers, technicians, and inspectors to support aerospace product development and certification.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Completion of your sophomore year prior to the start date.
- Full-time student status with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Reliable transportation.

- This is a paid, full-time internship located on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
- The term is for the Summer 2027 semester.
