About the role#
We are looking for an IT Intern to join us for the Summer 2027 term in Norfolk, Virginia. You will gain experience in the real estate investment industry by working under the direction of department managers. This internship involves personalized training and the execution of meaningful projects to help you build real-world job skills.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, assist end-users, and improve existing processes.
- Work with IT Analysts to gather and document requirements, analyze data, and contribute to project plans.
- Assist Engineering teams with coding, testing, and debugging tasks.
- Support IT project management initiatives to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
- Learn and apply tools, frameworks, and systems essential to IT operations.
- Develop creative solutions to IT challenges and contribute to process improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited 4-year degree program, entering junior or senior standing.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
- Ability to commit to a 10-week program.
- Willingness to travel for Kick-Off and Capstone events.
- Strong computer proficiency and communication skills.
- Professionalism regarding work quality, attendance, and conduct.
- Dependability, good judgment, and organizational skills.
- Initiative to stay engaged and curious.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships and take accountability.
- Adherence to company mission, values, and policies.
