    About the role#

    HealthCorps is looking for a Marketing & Communications intern to support our mission of empowering youth through health and wellness programs. You will work as a key member of our regional team in Palm Beach County, helping to share our impact through storytelling and digital engagement. This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, or Business Administration who want to build experience in nonprofit outreach and brand management.

    What you'll do#

    • Support content collection and storytelling for digital communications, including social media, newsletters, and websites.
    • Visit local school sites to capture stories and content from Teens Make Health Happen clubs.
    • Help manage regional social media channels by creating content and monitoring engagement.
    • Assist with the development of communications materials like email updates, presentations, and event invitations.
    • Create marketing collateral such as flyers, posters, and event signage.
    • Promote and execute regional events through digital outreach and on-site support.
    • Collaborate with regional staff and fellow interns to align on messaging and storytelling strategies.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program related to marketing, communications, or public health.
    • An applied understanding of basic marketing principles.
    • Familiarity with major social media platforms.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Graphic design skills and experience with creative tools.
    • Curiosity about current trends and youth-centered storytelling.
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    Location & details#

    • Location: West Palm Beach, Florida.
    • Term: Fall 2026 academic year.
    • Commitment: 8 hours per week, with 1.5 to 2 hours spent on-site at local schools.
    • Modality: Hybrid.
    • Compensation: This is a paid internship offering a stipend and the potential for college credit.
