About the role#
Hexagon is looking for an Agriculture Engineering Intern to join the Autonomous Solutions team in Calgary. This role focuses on software development and system verification for agricultural technologies. You will work alongside engineers to gain experience in programming, software quality, and product development cycles.
What you'll do#
- Collect, process, and analyze real-world GNSS/INS data from agricultural operating environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated verification and validation tools using Python.
- Analyze software defects and feature enhancement requests.
- Deploy and monitor automated test suites within a continuous integration environment.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Geomatics, or Agriculture program.
- Registration in an Engineering Internship or Co-op program with at least two or three years of study completed.
- Availability for a 12-month work term.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Calgary, Alberta.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The term spans from Summer 2027 through Spring 2028.
