About the role#
This is an unpaid internship through the DoD SkillBridge Program, specifically for transitioning active-duty military personnel. You will train as a Systems Test Engineer within the All-Domain Operations group. Over three to four months, you will work closely with a mentor and senior leadership to apply your military experience in operations, intelligence, electronics, and systems integration to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Plan, execute, and report on system assessments in an agile environment.
- Apply DoD testing and evaluation methods to emerging technologies.
- Develop test plans that maximize data collection opportunities.
- Collect and analyze data using manual and electronic methods.
- Provide recommendations to analysts on best practices for technology employment.
What you'll need#
- You must be active-duty military within your final 180 days of service.
- An active TOP-SECRET SCI security clearance is required.
- 10 years of combined relevant experience in fields such as Cyber Support, Radio Frequency (RF) Operations, Emerging Technologies, CBRNE, UAS Operations, or support to autonomous systems.
- Education and experience levels are dependent on the specific Program of Instruction.
