About the role#
Hoffman Construction Company is looking for a Construction Scheduling Intern to join our Scheduling Department in Boise, Idaho. You will report to the Scheduling Manager and work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents. This role is based entirely in our office and requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week during the school year. We will work with you to coordinate a schedule that meets this requirement.
What you'll do#
- Collect and input schedule status updates into the project record.
- Identify schedule changes and notify teams of impacts to critical path activities.
- Produce and distribute weekly and monthly schedules, forecasts, and reports.
- Attend project schedule progress meetings, either in-person or virtually.
- Maintain project schedule archives and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with project management software such as Primavera Project Planner (P6), Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience with design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Ability to organize technical data accurately and maintain a cooperative attitude in high-pressure situations.
