About the role#
As a Tourism & Operations Intern at our Los Angeles depot, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests. You will manage the campervan rental process from start to finish, ensuring customers are prepared for their trips and that our fleet remains in top condition. This role offers hands-on experience in the travel industry, including training in guest relations, fleet coordination, and logistics.
What you'll do#
- Manage check-ins and check-outs, including guest registration and payment processing.
- Explain campervan features, rental terms, and offer road trip extras to customers.
- Align incoming reservations with available vehicles and prepare campervans and kits for departures.
- Maintain the fleet by identifying and addressing maintenance or repair needs.
- Monitor stock levels and assist the team with operational troubleshooting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or recent graduation in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
- The ability to work in the United States.
- A customer-service mindset and the ability to solve problems on the fly.
- Comfort with hands-on tasks and an interest in working within international environments.
