About the role#
As a Tourism & Operations Intern, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests at the San Francisco depot. You will manage the full rental cycle, from welcoming travelers to ensuring their campervan is ready for the road. This role involves both direct customer interaction and the operational tasks required to maintain our fleet.
What you'll do#
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and explain campervan features or rental terms.
- Upsell road trip extras and kits to enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinate vehicle reservations with available stock and prepare campervans for upcoming trips.
- Perform quality control checks to identify and address maintenance or repair needs.
- Support the team with fleet coordination, inventory monitoring, and troubleshooting operational issues.
What you'll need#
- Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license for both manual and automatic vehicles.
- A work permit for the United States if applicable.
- Strong customer service skills and an ability to connect with people from different backgrounds.
- A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to perform hands-on tasks.

- Compensation: $17.87 per hour.
- Status: Full-time internship.
- Training: Includes online and on-the-job training in logistics, fleet management, and guest relations.
