About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry. It is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. The role helps you grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and ministry skills while you discern a potential call to ministry service.
What you'll do#
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to support spiritual vision and direction.
- Contribute to the team's plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture.
- Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ on campus.
- Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for people of every ethnicity and culture.
- Engage positively with supervision and training from your ministry trainer.
- Serve as an ambassador of InterVarsity to ministry partners and churches through prayer and discussion of ministry efforts.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- You can annually affirm the InterVarsity Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, and cultural awareness.
- You possess professionalism and a willingness to learn.
- This position is suitable for students in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Philosophy, Communications, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
