    About the role#

    As a Process Technical Services Student, you will work with the East Saint John Area Team. This team manages the daily operations of the Canaport and Mispec Marine Terminals. You will be based onsite at the East Saint John Terminal and work alongside the Area Contact Engineer to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve unit performance. This role balances field and office tasks to provide exposure to terminal operations.

    What you'll do#

    • Contribute to operations meetings and update the area team on status.
    • Perform process trending, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
    • Complete monthly reporting and environmental or operational documentation.
    • Facilitate the change management process and update relevant records.
    • Monitor water quality and conduct bioassays for containment ponds.
    • Track VRU efficiency.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree program, completing your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
    • A safety-first mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail skills.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically with Excel.
    • A valid Canadian driver’s license.

    • The role is on-site and full-time.
    • This is a paid co-op position.
