About the role#
The Ithaca College ID Office is looking for a student to join our team. You will support daily office operations and assist the campus community with ID card services. This is a paid, part-time position with a flexible schedule based on your classes.
What you'll do#
- Create, print, and distribute ID cards for students and faculty or staff.
- Replace lost ID cards.
- Troubleshoot card issues using multiple software programs.
- Support general day-to-day office activities.
- Assist with printing and distributing cards for incoming classes each semester.
What you'll need#
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills via phone, email, and in person.
- Experience working with computer software.
- Ability to learn proprietary software systems quickly.
- Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve account issues.
- Availability to work before students arrive on campus, specifically before fall orientation and spring weekend arrival.
Location & details#
- Location: Ithaca, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 4 to 10 hours per week, assigned around your class schedule.
- Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
- Availability: Summer and semester break availability is a plus.
