About the role#
Marketing and Events Promotion Assistants help promote MTD events and manage communication for potential audiences. This position supports marketing and promotion efforts through various tasks on and off campus.
What you'll do#
- Film and edit short video interviews for MTD social media channels.
- Create and distribute posters around campus and downtown.
- Send event listings to community notice boards and submit postings to Intercom.
- Design event slides for monitors located in Whalen, Dillingham, and other campus areas.
- Capture photos and videos during events, edit content for posting, and interview performers and attendees.
What you'll need#
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic graphic design skills.
- Experience shooting and editing photos and videos.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn.
- Relevant coursework in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or Business Administration.
