About the role#
This 4-month internship offers hands-on experience in manufacturing and operations. You will work directly with production teams and project managers to drive operational excellence. Throughout the term, you will receive mentorship from experienced leaders and participate in professional development opportunities across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.
- Assist with capital and operational projects, including planning, tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
- Analyze operational performance using ERP systems, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
- Work with production teams to map workflows, document processes, and standardize operations.
- Use AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity and workflow management.
- Participate in safety inspections and contribute to a culture of proactive hazard identification.
- Engage in problem-solving workshops and project execution meetings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the second or third year of a Mechanical or Civil Engineering program.
- Interest in manufacturing, operations, or project management.
- Experience with technical drawings, drafting software, or process mapping.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.

- Location: Bouctouche, New Brunswick.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid position open to both co-op and non-co-op students. Housing assistance is available for eligible students, and the company reimburses co-op fees up to $1,000.
