    About the role#

    The Manufacturing Engineering internship at John Deere offers college students the chance to gain hands-on experience in engineering practices. You will work within Product, Factory, and Weld Engineering teams to help build technology for agriculture and infrastructure. This role is designed to help you identify your own career path while working alongside mentors, managers, and peers.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in engineering projects.
    • Collaborate with managers, peers, and mentors.
    • Experience foundational engineering practices in Product, Factory, and Weld Engineering.
    • Define your unique engineering journey and identify your personal career path.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Ag Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Previous experience through an internship, co-op, or project-focused research.
    • Proficiency in computer-aided design, engineering tools, or programming languages.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
    • The role is located in Iowa, United States.
    • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
