About the role#
Johnson & Johnson is hiring for R&D Design & Development Co-ops for the Spring 2027 term. This program is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and focuses on medical device innovation within our MedTech sector. You will work on-site full-time from January 11, 2027, through April 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform testing, experimentation, and validation to support product design.
- Contribute to design solutions using CAD tools, simulation software, and fundamental engineering principles.
- Assist in developing laboratory testing, interpreting data results, and recommending next steps.
- Build simulation models, develop kinematics models, and perform stack-up analysis.
- Work alongside seasoned engineers to gain hands-on experience in a professional research and development environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Completion of at least two semesters of school prior to the start of the term.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.
- Ability to work full-time on-site during the co-op term.
