About the role#
The Kroger Spring Internship Program is a full-time, 12-week immersive experience running from January 11th to April 23rd, 2027. Interns work within the Corporate Supply Chain team and various operational departments, including transportation, procurement, and engineering. You will gain hands-on experience, connect with senior leaders, and develop professional skills through focused assignments.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to deadlines.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to relevant teams.
- Document supply chain processes and best practices.
- Create and support process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and recommend new project opportunities.
- Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, and deliver supply chain solutions.
- Assist with project risk management and escalate unresolved issues.
- Complete a cumulative project and present your findings to managers or the executive team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, with a preference for majors in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or Operations Management.
- Valid work authorization that does not require sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently or within a team, with a high level of initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information to various levels of the organization.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to change as a positive challenge.
