About the role#
The L3Harris Enterprise Data and AI team is looking for an Application Development Intern to manage enterprise-level data life cycle processes. You will work on the company's Unified Data Layer, focusing on data pipeline development, maintenance, and platform design. Your work will help ensure that decision-makers across the organization have access to clean and reliable data.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable data flow.
- Monitor the health of data pipelines, maintain schedules, and orchestrate workflows.
- Create, update, and optimize data connections, datasets, and transformations.
- Use Palantir Foundry to connect to source applications and design logical data models.
- Develop and manage data cleansing, consolidation, and integration mechanisms to support big data analytics.
- Troubleshoot data sync issues and assist business users with testing and documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse development methodologies.
- Experience with Python, Pandas, Databricks, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Palantir Foundry, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.

- This is an on-site position based in Melbourne, Florida.
- This is a full-time internship role with a rolling term.
