    About the role#

    Lincoln Electric is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-op for our automation facility in Plymouth, Michigan. This program connects your academic studies with hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing. You will participate in technical training, mentorship, and professional development workshops. This position includes a required Immersion Day at our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters, with all travel expenses covered by the company.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop custom manufacturing equipment based on specific customer requirements.
    • Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and machinery.
    • Design and implement automated systems for customer applications.
    • Engineer robotic solutions to optimize our internal manufacturing processes.
    • Conduct engineering analysis on mechanical designs to validate performance.

    What you'll need#

    • A bachelor's degree or current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
    • A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.

    • Location: Plymouth, Michigan.
    • Term: Winter 2027 (January 12th to April 16th).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Employment type: Full-time, paid position.
