About the role#
This internship offers a chance to work within the finance and accounting functions of a global manufacturing company. You will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects and collaborating with various departments such as Internal Audit, FP&A, and Cost Accounting. The program includes professional development workshops, mentorship through the LincPal program, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Assist in preparing financial reports that track key performance metrics, trends, and variances.
- Conduct research on industry competitors to gather insights into their financial performance.
- Help prepare and review quarterly and annual filings including 10-Q and 10-K documents.
- Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in building and updating financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Support audits of key financial and operational controls across business units.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, either currently in progress or already achieved.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
- A desire to work for a manufacturing company.
