About the role#
Lipscomb Academy is hiring a Chemistry Lab Assistant to support the chemistry department. This is a part-time student worker position based on-site in Nashville, Tennessee. The role follows a rolling term schedule.
What you'll do#
You will work directly in the chemistry labs. Your primary responsibilities include assisting the professor with experiments and helping students navigate their weekly assignments. You will also prepare the laboratory setup, conduct safety checks, and maintain overall lab cleanliness.
What you'll need#
You must be a current student at Lipscomb University. It is required that you have already completed the specific course you are assisting. You should be familiar with laboratory equipment, capable of assisting in experiments, and have good communication skills. Preferred majors include Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Environmental Engineering.

This position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is an on-site, paid role. You may be eligible for Federal Work Study.
