About the role#
Lipscomb Academy is hiring a University Marketing Video Production Intern. You will join the University Marketing creative team to produce video content for the university website, social media, and other digital channels. This role reports to the Marketing Videography Producer. The position requires 10 hours of work per week at a rate of $10 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the creative staff to conceptualize, storyboard, write, and produce scripts.
- Create video content for digital properties and university missions.
- Manage the shooting, editing, and duplication process, including project timelines.
- Oversee social media projects from initial planning through measurement.
- Document events on and off-campus using professional videography equipment.
- Assist the Marketing Videography Producer with web and digital media development.
- Use design and media technology to communicate ideas and processes.
What you'll need#
- Proficiency with Macintosh OS X and related systems.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
- Familiarity with desktop publishing tools like Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, and related software.
- Ability to manage projects and meet set goals.
- Understanding of marketing and communication principles.
- Capacity to learn new software and share technical knowledge with the team.
- Ability to work across strategic and tactical tasks.
- Preferred majors include Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or Graphic Design.
