About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. You will work within the Mackenzie Investments team to support the IG Best-In-Class Advice portfolio. This position operates in a hybrid model and requires 37.5 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and pod leadership to create high-level specifications.
- Collaborate with technical teams to convert these specifications into actionable stories.
- Partner with pod leadership and solution architects to build AI analysis and reporting pipelines.
- Analyze business processes to find opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a plan to return to school in April 2027.
- Academic focus in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint-based development, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to gather, organize, and document business requirements.
