About the role#
The Greenchip team at Mackenzie Investments is hiring an intern for a full-time summer position. You will work 37.5 hours per week from May to August 2027. This role is based in our Toronto office and operates under a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Build discounted cash flow models for multiple companies and develop an investment thesis for each.
- Research and write a report on the environmental sector.
- Review our business processes to find ways to improve, including the use of AI.
- Perform ESG analysis on our current portfolio holdings and potential new companies.
What you'll need#
- You must be a registered student returning to school in 2027.
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering, or in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
- You have a basic understanding of financial markets.
- You work well in a team setting.
- You possess strong interpersonal, judgment, and decision-making skills.
