About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience in product design within Manulife Wealth & Asset Management. You will contribute to digital products like client platforms and mobile experiences. The role focuses on the end-to-end design process, from initial research to final visual design, while working alongside Senior Designers and Design Leads.
What you'll do#
- Define, design, and test digital experiences for diverse audiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design documentation using Figma.
- Collaborate with Senior Designers and Design Leads to conduct usability reviews, user research, and user testing.
- Partner with designers, product owners, and technology teams to identify user needs and translate them into design solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions.
- Analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Experience with design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a focus on user-centered solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
