About the role#
Marvell is hiring an entry-level Design-for-Test (DFT) intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will assist with the design and implementation of DFT features and reference flows. This role supports the delivery of system-on-chip (SOC) designs to clients and contributes to current customer engagements.
What you'll do#
- Learn and run defined computer-aided design (CAD) tools and flows.
- Design and develop SOCs using Linux, TCL, and Python or Perl.
- Analyze, debug, and implement DFT features.
- Collaborate with global CAD teams on design flow fixes and feature improvements.
- Assist in design verification efforts using ICL/PDL constructs and SV/UVM.
- Review design requirements and customer specifications.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong programming skills in scripting languages such as TCL or Python.
- Basic understanding of Linux, Unix, or BSD internals.
- Ability to work in a Unix-type environment.
