About the role#
As a Design Verification Intern, you will join teams working on technologies for cloud, AI, storage, and networking solutions. You will contribute to pre-silicon emulation and verification for various chip architectures. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Create simulation environments using industry-standard tools.
- Develop automated tests to identify flaws and troubleshoot failed simulations.
- Analyze test coverage results and metrics.
- Collaborate with chip architects and designers to solve complex problems.
- Work on RTL integration and bring-up systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Completed coursework in computer architecture, logic, processor, memory systems, Verilog, VLSI, UVM, and digital logic design.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages including Python, C, C++, Perl, and Java.
- Experience using tools like Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor to run simulations and debug testbenches.
- Hands-on experience with RTL integration and bring-up.
