About the role#
The Custom Cloud Solutions Hardware Validation Group ensures the quality and performance of data center ASIC and SoC products. As an intern, you will work in a hardware lab alongside engineers to validate silicon across high-speed interfaces and complex platform environments.
What you'll do#
- Assist with functional hardware validation and debug tasks for platforms using high-speed interfaces.
- Support system bring-up by running test cases, gathering data, and documenting results.
- Write and run automation scripts to improve silicon testing workflows.
- Use lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for signal integrity analysis.
- Work with cross-functional teams to investigate and reproduce hardware or protocol-level issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A basic grasp of digital logic, computer architecture, or hardware design.
- Experience with at least one scripting or programming language such as Python or C.
- Ability to work in a hands-on lab environment and a desire to learn standard equipment usage.

- Locations: Westborough, MA; Boise, ID; or Santa Clara, CA.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time, on-site, paid internship.
