About the role#
As an IT Co-op at McKenney's, you will join the team to handle real technical tasks that support our construction projects. You will work alongside our technology team to maintain our systems and assist staff in both the office and the field. We look for students who can apply technical concepts to solve problems and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
What you'll do#
- Provide IT support to office and field employees.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, mobile devices, and rugged field equipment.
- Install and configure business applications including Microsoft 365, Procore, and Bluebeam.
- Manage IT infrastructure and connectivity at offices and construction job sites.
- Ensure all work follows cybersecurity standards and company IT policies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Availability to work at least 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong technical skills in computer hardware and software maintenance.
- Ability to work on job sites which may involve navigating active construction areas and climbing stairs or ladders.
- Capacity to lift objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.

- Terms available: Spring 2027 and Fall 2027.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
