About the role#
We are looking for an Engineering Student Intern to join our Water/Wastewater team in Charlotte for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical and design support for municipal water and wastewater projects.
- Conduct technical evaluations and prepare design computations.
- Assist with the creation of construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents.
- Manage your assigned design tasks to ensure they meet budget and schedule requirements.
- Coordinate technical work and reports with the project manager and design team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Civil or Environmental Engineering. Junior status is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and a process-oriented mindset.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver's license.
