About the role#
The Rapid Prototyping Group works across the Laboratory to deliver advanced technology systems. Projects typically move from concept to delivery in under a year. You will work in interdisciplinary teams to support these efforts.
What you'll do#
- Design, fabricate, integrate, and test novel sensor and payload systems for aircraft and other platforms.
- Assemble hardware components into final systems.
- Collaborate with technical staff on ongoing projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Physics.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of university.
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD software is strongly preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
