About the role#
This summer internship focuses on the development of personal care formulations. You will join our product development team to test raw materials and demonstrate the consumer benefits of our technologies. This role involves working in a laboratory setting and interacting with our marketing and analytical teams.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and formulate naturally derived materials at the laboratory scale.
- Perform physical and chemical characterization of materials using analytical and instrumental techniques.
- Test the performance of developed materials within personal care formulations.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data to support project goals.
- Present your findings and recommendations through written summaries and team discussions.
- Follow all laboratory safety standards and company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a PhD student in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, or a related field.
- Active enrollment in an academic program at the time of application and for at least one semester after the internship ends.
- Working knowledge of general chemistry and the ability to conduct lab experiments.
- Proficiency with standard personal computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

- Location: Pearl River, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10-12 weeks between May and August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour.
