    About the role#

    This is a non-paid clinical experience designed to supplement the requirements of your academic program. Placement depends on department and preceptor availability, as well as current affiliation agreements with your institution.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with clinical exercises for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
    • Support patients throughout their recovery process under staff supervision.
    • Document patient progress and share updates with the medical team.
    • Follow safety protocols and departmental procedures during all clinical activities.
    • Encourage patients to participate in their rehabilitation programs.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an academic program related to Kinesiology, Health Administration, Nursing, or a similar field.
    • Availability to complete the required clinical hours.
    • Ability to follow departmental policies and guidelines.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • A willingness to learn and assist in a clinical setting.
