About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Elsmere, Kentucky. You will spend your time working on high-impact projects within our manufacturing departments. This role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while you develop your technical knowledge and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through multiple areas of the manufacturing plant to gain an overall understanding of the production process.
- Provide support to plant team members to gain practical experience with production methods, machines, and processes.
- Assist with research on new and existing projects and support major decision making.
- Attend department meetings and action plans based on feedback.
- Create a presentation on your internship experience, projects, and outcomes to share with department leadership.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Junior or rising Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Chemical Engineering.
- You must be able to rotate through multiple areas of the manufacturing plant.
- Strong communication skills are required to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
