About the role#
Nidec Aerospace is a joint venture between Nidec and Embraer. We are focused on the electrification of aircraft. As an intern, you will join a team of design engineers to help support aerospace industry leaders. You will work on projects ranging from initial ideation to production.
What you'll do#
- Support the manufacturing of electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircraft.
- Spearhead technological advances in transport decarbonization.
- Work with a diverse team of experienced design engineers.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A strong academic background with relevant coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid position.
- The term is rolling.
