    About the role#

    This is a 12-week paid internship program starting in May 2027. You will join the renewable generation department to work on projects that meet utility facility needs. You will learn within a team environment, complete tasks, and collaborate with staff on various projects. This role provides an overview of operations and industry events.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist and work under the guidance of renewable generation staff.
    • Evaluate and provide project management support for electric generation facilities.
    • Collect and analyze data while reviewing records.
    • Gather information to create work orders or purchase requisitions.
    • Perform field measurements.
    • Read and interpret legal agreements.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an ABET accredited, four-year Engineering, Business, or Operations program.
    • Completion of at least one year of undergraduate study.
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
    • Proficiency with PC applications, specifically M365.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Must reside within 50 miles of the reporting location.
    • Ability to communicate technical or business concepts effectively.

    • Locations: Wheatfield, Valparaiso, or Merrillville, Indiana.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • This position requires safety consciousness and may involve supporting emergency response efforts.
